Overnight Steel Cut Oatmeal

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: fruit dried or fresh and nuts for toppings


  • Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray. Whisk together all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Stir and serve in bowls with desired toppings
