Overnight Steel Cut Oatmeal
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Optional: fruit dried or fresh and nuts for toppings
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray. Whisk together all ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
- Stir and serve in bowls with desired toppings
