A Note About Resources...

  • Many of the following resources were developed based off of behavioral activation – a theory in which a person feels a sense of satisfaction or reward when they make positive behavior changes, which can in turn fuel more positive behavior changes and better mood. 
  • Even if you don’t want to do the action (i.e. get out of bed, talk to other humans, etc.), try to do the action first, and then see how you feel. Keep trying if you can.
  • Make sure you start off small with activities that will be simple and rewarding, and build up from there, with activities that are more challenging. 

*Resources are not intended to be a replacement for professional guidance, but are rather an informational source and decision-making aid (because we know depression can make decision-making hard).
